Spring has Sprung! Time to Spring Clean

Here we are heading into the warmer months again as Spring starts strong in Brisbane.  As always, it’s a good time to clean up your property ready for the dry months we are expecting.  Whilst last years rain had us dealing with a lot of garden rubbish, this year it’s the same but we are dealing with dry weather the the need for fire risk mitigation in some areas.  As El Niño comes into effect in Queensland we will see reduced rainfall and hotter days. Removing ‘fuel’ around your property is one of the recommended gardening maintenance tasks when the weather is dry like this, particularly in areas near bushland and larger properties.

You can mulch some of the garden waste that comes from this, chop logs and store for firewood if you have a wood burner but often you end up with large piles of garden green waste that needs to be removed.  Not everyone has the time (or desire) to spend the weekend mulching or chopping and moving branches for storage and burning rubbish is just not an option with fire-bans in place across Brisbane.  In this ase just call us and we can pop by to remove your remaining garden waste.  Quotes can happen over the phone or fill out the form with photos attached.

Garden Waste Disposal During the Growth Season

Dropping in for our usual update.  We are experiencing some massive rainfall at the moment in Brisbane.  This has the lawn mowers working double-time and the garden refuse is piling up in the backyard.  Tree branches and clippings are almost filling the green bins before they get emptied!  But it’s all good and it’s ‘too easy’ if you need a hand with your garden waste disposal in Brisbane.  We are called on rain, hail, or shine and our experienced and loyal team is ready to go should you need some help removing the garden refuse.

Best suited when you’ve had a massive garden clear out but don’t have a ute or trailer to load up.  Or, maybe you’ve just been putting it all in a pile in the backyard.  Time to clear out and claim back that space. Residential, commercial, property managers, childcare, and retail centres are some of our regular clients.

We hope you have a good week.

Storm Season and Green Waste Removals in Brisbane

Well if the last week is anything to go by, green waste removals in Brisbane will be top of the to-do list right now.  And the recent rubbish removal enquiries confirm this.  After the storm cleanup there are many piles of garden rubbish requiring removal from residential backyards as the weekend will have been spent cleaning up.

With the storm dropping a few branches around the place and in some cases entire trees, you may have spent the weekend revving up the chainsaw.  Don’t worry if you’re left with a pile of branches and tree logs and you’re wondering what to do with them – we can help with just a phone call.

If the hail in Brisbane managed to knock a few leaves off the trees around the garden then you would have also been raking up those pesky small twigs, bark and leaves that end up all over the lawn.  Again, one phone call and we’ll have it gone.

Springfield has certainly kept us busy with cleanups from damaged homes unfortunately.  It’s incredible what a storm can do in Brisbane.  We are seeing all the insurance companies out and about as we show up to collect broken roof tiles, plasterboard and the like.  Wishing all the best to those affected and we hope the insurance claims come through quickly.

The Winter Windy Season & Green Waste

Winter garden clear out

The weather is certainly a big influence on our day when removing rubbish all over Brisbane.   We might not get to enjoy Ekka this year thanks to COVID restrictions but the August winds are certainly here earlier than usual and not failing us today in Brisbane.  Add the recent rain and it’s going to be a fun weekend of garden clean up.  Branches down, leaves to be raked and general tidy ups needed for the Brisbane backyard.  Luckily our team are used to working in any conditions rain, hail (wind) or shine and we are always there to cart away the garden waste when you’re done.
