Rubbish Removals FAQ

Welcome to our rubbish removal FAQs — find answers on pricing, service areas, what we take, and how to book.

We remove almost all household and commercial rubbish, including furniture, mattresses, couches, whitegoods (fridges, washing machines, dryers), office furniture and equipment, green waste (branches, leaves, grass clippings, garden waste), and general household junk. If you're not sure whether we take something, give us a call — we'll let you know upfront.

While we handle a wide range of non-hazardous rubbish, we don't remove materials such as asbestos, chemicals, or flammable waste, which for safety and compliance require licensed specialist disposal. We also don't take heavy inert materials like bricks, concrete, tiles, or soil. If you need help with any of these, we're glad to recommend the right service.

Pricing depends on the volume and type of rubbish. We give upfront pricing before we start — no surprises. Request a free estimate and we'll confirm the cost before any work begins.

Your quote is a genuine estimate based on the details you provide. Because pricing depends on the actual volume and type of rubbish, the final price is confirmed once our team assesses the job — with no hidden fees and nothing added without your approval.

No. As long as our team can reach you by phone to confirm access and pricing, you don't need to be there in person. This is especially handy for property managers, real estate agents, and anyone coordinating a clearout from a distance.

We offer fast, often same-day service across Brisbane, depending on availability and your location. Get in touch and we'll let you know the earliest slot we can offer.

We cover Brisbane and surrounding areas, roughly from Caboolture in the north, down to Slacks Creek in the south, across to Victoria Point in the east, and out to Springfield in the west. If you're just outside these areas, ask us anyway — we may still be able to help.

Yes. We recycle as much as possible and dispose of everything in an eco-friendly way wherever we can, rather than defaulting to landfill.

Yes — our team will load and carry items from wherever they are, including upstairs, garages, and hard-to-reach areas, so you don't have to.

Yes, we handle both residential and commercial rubbish removal, including office cleanouts, workplace furniture, and green waste.

Yes — we offer a discount for seniors, Just mention it when you get in touch

We accept Visa, Master Card, direct debit, cash and when required payment over the phone— whatever's easiest for you.

Yes — we're Brisbane locals, not a franchise, and we've been operating since 2011.

Yes. We understand these situations often come with time pressure and sensitivity, and we approach every deceased estate or property cleanout with care.

Awesome service, even told me that they would be a little late in picking up my metal garden shed panels from Murrumba Downs and let me know when they were only 20 minutes away. Would certainly recommend Brizzy Rubbish Removals.

Can’t complain about the service. Emailed an enquiry on a Saturday about a price for some old furniture to go to the tip. Not only did I get an answer virtually straight away, after a couple of emails we had a time, date and price booked.

On the day I recieved a courtesy message saying they are on the way. They turned up, on time, and within 5 mins the furniture was gone. No fuss no issues.

If you need some stuff taken away definitely recommend these guys!!

Owner's reply

We really appreciate your recommendation and are pleased we could make the whole process fast and hassle-free. Thanks again for choosing Brizzy Rubbish Removals!

Really happy with the service! We had a difficult old commercial fridge that needed to be dismantled before it could be removed. ( South Brisbane) The team were professional, careful and knew exactly what they were doing. They worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy afterwards.

It was a pleasure dealing with them, and I really appreciate their help. Would definitely recommend!
